If you are interested in setting up a similar site for your sailing organization, this software and the configuration settings are available as open source software.

The project is still in a 'pre-release' stage. While it is being finished up, please feel free to register as a 'volunteer' on the site. In your registration, please indicate clearly that you would like to have more information about the software (in part to distinguish yourself from spammers). Once your registration is accepted, you will have the ability to contact me via the online contact form.

I will happily (and freely) share up-to-date information such as the source code and configuration 'recipe' with you. The only limitations are that further distributions of the software or its derivatives must also be free. It may not be sold. (Invitations to participate in regattas using this software also heartily encouraged!)

And of course, any actual volunteer effort is welcomed. Programming experience is not necessary. Insights into the various needs that race organizers have, and the best ways for them to work, actually make up a large percentage of the effort. Any casual insights you have are welcome as an online comment (most pages have a link for leaving a comment), and longer suggestions are welcome as an email via the contact form.
